Job Summary

Golden West Food Group is a leading provider of high quality prepared and processed food products. Our product lines include raw proteins, specialty snacks, cooked entrees and beverages sold to the retail and foodservice segments. In addition to premium quality products, we are committed to food safety, maintaining BRC AA status as well as numerous additional food system certifications. We are looking for a cost accountant to play a critical role in manufacturing cost function, providing analysis of results, updating cost information as needed and providing cost estimates for new products. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter that feels comfortable in the manufacturing environment and can document, assess and identify cost drivers and report on key performance metrics.

Responsibilities and Duties
Class A Driver main duties include:
  • Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned delivery vehicle

  • Transport products from place of origin to assigned destination

  • Pick-up loads and organize goods in an ordered, logical manner

  • Ensure contents are properly secured inside of truck to prevent breakage or damage

  • Safely and efficiently handle and unload goods at selected destinations

  • Obtain signatures or warehouse scans to confirm and complete deliveries with clients

  • Assist in mapping delivery routes

  • Stay on predetermined route and ensure timely deliveries

  • Communicate with dispatch as needed

  • Confirm contents of each shipment load matches the manifest document

  • Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip

                  This position requires a multi-skilled person to perform all phases of maintenance within our organization. Multi-tasking of both mechanical and electrical skills to maintain our equipment and processes. To be capable of performing tasks required to rebuild, modify or adjust our equipment and processes related to producing the best product possible.                   • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot equipment quickly and efficiently

                    The Maintenance Electrician reports to the Maintenance Supervisor. The general purpose of the job is
                    facilities & Machinery repair, installation and maintenance. The maintenance electrician person writes
                    reports on job status regularly.

                    Responsibilities and Duties
                    Maintenance Electrician main duties include:

                    The Maintenance Electrician performs maintenance electrical service and repairs, modifies and installs production process equipment. The Maintenance Electrician troubleshoots and repairs all the facility equipment to a complete production satisfaction to maintain product quality and workers safety, performs mechanical repairs and a variety of complicated tasks. Using catalogs and vendor contact, The person researches and requisitions parts and supplies.

                    Environment and Physical Requirements

                    While performing the duties of this job, the Maintenance Electrician is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; Reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The maintenance Electrician is regularly required to stand, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The person must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 Lbs., occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 Lbs.

                    Hazards/Safety

                    The Maintenance Electrician frequently works in a high noise level, near High Voltage and moving
                    machinery. The Electrician work inside & outside weather conditions; and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or oily conditions, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.

                    Interfaces/ relationships

                    The maintenance electrician interfaces with Mechanics and production operators, Production Foreman, Engineer or any other persons involved during equipment PM or repairs. The person occasionally interfaces with vendors and service technicians of equipment manufacturers

                    Qualifications and Skills

                    The maintenance Electrician has all the skills of a journeyman and is able to read and understand
                    Electrical & Mechanical Drawings as well as understand procedures to accomplish their assigned task (such as Engineer’s project, Engineer’s notes, Work Order from Maintenance & production Foreman). The person has a good mechanical aptitude and ability to perform mechanical tasks and must be familiar
                    with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

                    • Technical competence, the ability to read and understand detailed instructions, blueprints,
                      flowcharts, schematics and engineering documents, and pass all compliance necessary for technical and safety training;

                    • Understanding of the control and repair of circuits and motors;

                    • Sharp troubleshooting skills and comfort working alone or as part of a team;

                    • Ability to evaluate the scope of a job, determine needed parts/materials, and order through
                      authorized vendors.

                    • Expertise using common hand tools, meters, gauges and other associated test and measurement equipment, as well as ability to measure current, voltage and amperage;

                    • Experience operating under Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) and other food
                      safety/sanitary guidelines;

                    • Mastery of the basic math skills needed to do the job, the ability to differentiate colors, computer literacy, and full understanding of the National Electric Code;

                    • Reliable on-time behavior and the flexibility to work at night as well as on weekends/holidays;

                    • Good communication skills with outside vendors as well as fellow Cast Members, a
                      Guest/customer focus, high energy, respect for diversity, reliability, and a can-do/team-first
                      attitude;
