Overall Responsibilities

Summary: 
The Primary Function of the Supply Chain Analyst is to support the companies’ day-to-day activities from
the purchasing of Raw Materials to the delivery of Finished Goods, evaluate and enhance the department’s
processes with the use of the existing operation systems, and provide recommendations to deliver
satisfactorily to the companies’ customers.

 
Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Purchasing

    • Generate and transmit Purchase Orders as needed
    • Monitor/track the progress of delivery of the Purchase Orders, to be able to –
    • Receive and close out Purchase Orders (for Inventory and A/P)
    • Other duties as assigned
  • Production
    • Communicate production updates from all co-packers with the production planners/managers
    • Verify accuracy of Production Formulas
    • Create accurate Production Entries and organize their receipts, accordingly
    • Plan on upcoming months’ Production Forecast and Schedule
    • Other duties as assigned
  • Inventory Control
    • Record and maintain Journal Entries for receipt of materials
    • Organize and maintain Inventory documents
    • Run month-end reports for all Co-packers and Third-Party Warehouses
    • Create the necessary Inventory Adjustments and associated Journal Entries to balance
      Inventory
    • File and follow-up on claims against damages from co-packers and/or warehouses
    • Verify shelf life of inventory on hand
    • Maintain the companies’ CHEP/PECO accounts
    • Other duties as assigned
  • Transportation and Logistics
    • Trace Shipping progress and confirm Delivery as needed
    • Create and maintain a Freight Tracker for visibility and Freight Analysis
    • Follow-up on claims against Carriers when necessary
    • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience:
  • 5+ years of Supply Chain experience, preferred

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Ability to pay attention to details

  • Ability to work efficiently both individually and with a/other team/s

  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally (verbally and in writing)

  • Basic to intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook/Excel/Word)
