Job Summary

We are commercial food and beverage manufacturer/distributor of value-added proteins, entrée’s, BBQ,
sandwiches, pastries, and more. As the Senior Manager of Brand Development, you will be responsible for
leading specific programs within our portfolio and owning the overall success of the brand, including managing
internal and external relationships as well as the brands P&L. The Senior Manager of Brand Development will be
tasked with creating a strong, seamless brand experience across all touchpoints along the consumer decision

The position is highly visible within the organization and includes a wide range of responsibilities and
touchpoints. The ideal candidate is collaborative, strategic, able to bring forward creative and disruptive
thinking, disciplined, in tune with the consumer and licensor needs, able to create and present decks with
confidence, and brings a depth of experience in project management. The role requires both a strong project
management background and attention to detail, in addition to the ability to work collaboratively with multiple
internal teams to support the greater goals of the organization. 

Your Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day responsibilities for our brands.

  • Lead communication with licensor for licensed brands; cultivate a great working relationship with relevant business counterparts at licensor in order to drive the partnership forward.

  • P&L management. Prepare detailed budgets for all aspects of the brand including sales support activities, marketing related costs, promotion across all channels, product development and commercialization.

  • Create and manage detailed project timelines for each product launch and work with cross-functional teams to ensure all project deliverables are executed on time and within budget.

  • Collaborate cross functionally with all teams (Marketing, Sales, R&D, Operations, Finance, Customer Support) to develop product, packaging, P&Ls, forecasts and go to market strategies. Ensure that products launch successfully and that any risks are identified and resolved in a timely manner.

  • Create, develop, and deliver regular data-driven category reviews, plans and recommendations for both internal, external and customer-facing use.

  • Identify performance gaps for category including matters related to volume, share, pricing, promotions, shelf-space and product distribution; implement solutions and track, measure, and communicate results.

  • Lead the development and implementation of retailer presentations, as well as launch playbooks that consolidate product launch details, message hierarchy, marketing concept, visual assets, and go-tomarket strategy.

  • Sales tracking and analytics of existing and future business for the brand; partner with Sales team to methodically track sales activity and provide regular updates to Executive team.

  • Establish and manage business relationship with co-manufacturing partners in conjunction with Operations team.

  • Other duties as assigned

  • A person who does what they say they will do when they say they will do it. Excellent follow through is a must.

  • You’re an organized project manager who knows how to get things done efficiently, and on-time.

You Have
  • A Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, experience in food/beverage industry is a plus.

  • Ability to prioritize and project manage many different projects simultaneously from conception through execution, ensuring all timelines are met within budget.

  • You are a risk taker: you enjoy thinking of creative and new ways to interact with customers, while still taking data-driven approach to solve problems.

  • You’re familiar with reading and analyzing consumer insights and trends.

  • You have experience interacting with both customers and company leadership teams.
