Responsibilities and Duties
IT Support Specialist main duties include:
  • Job responsibilities vary and will include software installations, answering day-to-day questions,
    conducting training & supporting users with software related problems

  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware related issues

  • Serving as the first point of contact for IT support within the organization

  • Work with vendors to install software upgrades and test new releases

  • Supporting the existing production labeling system, label printers (Datamax), and being able to
    create label templates using a labeling software (Experience w/ Codesoft and\or Label Matrix is
    a plus)

  • Installing peripherals such as network printers & scanners

  • Assist in maintaining the digital surveillance system

  •  Assist & troubleshoot Office 365 related applications

  • Assist in the management of Apple related products (laptops, phones & tablets)

  • Manage wireless handheld barcode scanners

  • Onboarding & Offboarding of users.

  • Inventory control for PC\IT related parts

  • Regularly maintaining & updating technical documentation

  • Rotating after hour support schedule (low incidence environment)

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications / Experience:
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, or related field

  • Have at least 4 years of experience installing, configuring and maintaining hardware
    components in a network infrastructure

  • Understanding & Implementation of PC hardware and software troubleshooting

  • Experience with supports users on both Apple & Microsoft products

  • Experience with labeling programs such as Codesoft and\or Label Matrix

  • Have at least 2 years of experience installing, configuring and maintaining hardware
    components in a network infrastructure.

  • Understanding & Implementation of PC hardware and software troubleshooting

  • Experience supporting corporate users with Microsoft products (Mac products optionally)

  • Experience with labeling programs such as Codesoft and\or Label Matrix

  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong desire to help people.

  • Excellent oral and written skills

  •  Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once

  • Accustomed to learning new skills and software
