Job Summary
The Demand and Scheduling Manager will coordinate and expedite the flow of project work
within or between departments. Duties included establishing production priorities, approving
order modifications, communicating lead times; communication with the warehouse team on
delays completion dates, in addition to, maintaining an action item list on upcoming projects and timing, and understanding production delays.
Responsibilities and Duties
Demand and Scheduling Manager main duties include:
Ensure daily production requirements are achieved to meet customer delivery
expectationsCreates production schedule and prioritizes job-orders for production optimization
Maintains the production schedule and other reports as required
Schedule and manage the first production process
Manage inventories on production SKU’s as they approach the end of project status
Interactions with Co-Manufactures on inventory and production schedules
Manage and develop the finite scheduling process for both Raw and RTE production
Interacts with Customer Service and Shipping/Receiving around order modifications and timing on outbound loads
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
Associates or College Degree preferred with a minimum 5 years of related experience or
High School diploma with 10 years of experienceExperience working with raw proteins, i.e., beef, chicken, and pork
Strategic/Analytic thinking and planning capabilities (forecasting included) required.
Ability to effectively work in a team environment
Excellent time management and prioritization skills
Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work on Excel and a MRP system
Detail oriented, solution focused
